From raspberries ripening on the bush to a freshly prepared pudding looking good enough to eat, I create images to capture the story of food from field to plate. As a journalist and photographer, I am able to provide a complete editorial package by supplying images and copy in tandem for food and gardening features or recipe development assignments.
With its spectacular countryside and national parks, quaint villages and beautiful architecture Great Britain offers a diverse landscape of opportunity for the photographer. I create images for editorial and calendar markets, constantly on the lookout for a chance to capture places and moments in time to catalogue a diverse picture of Britain.
When it comes to gardening, my skills and expertise are centred on the produce of the kitchen garden - highlighting different stages of crop production, capturing seasonal gardening tasks and showcasing less well known produce from the fruit and vegetable plot. This theme carries through into the food articles, web content and the recipes I create, where I concentrate on seasonally produced vegetarian and fish dishes, puddings and baking.
There is nothing more exciting or enriching than traveling and seeing a place for the very first time. I’ve had plenty of travel adventures over the years, but I still have a travel wish list that is a perpetual work in progress. With so many cultures to experience, people to meet and new food sensations to savour I can’t help but keep sharing the stories I come across through my words and photographs. My photographs and travel articles have been published in newspapers, magazines, brochures and blogs.
Stock travel images can be provided from an extensive catalogue, with coverage of many countries including – amongst others - Australia, Botswana, China, Costa Rica, India, Morocco, Namibia, Nepal, Republic of Maldives, Tanzania & Zanzibar, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
